During my five-day stay at Shangri-La Bangkok, I was met with a mixed experience. The location and view of the river were lovely, and the staff were generally attentive. However, I was disappointed by my accommodation in the Krungthep Wing, which felt like a sub-standard annex with limited amenities and a far walk to the main hotel. Overall, I would rate my stay as decent but not without its frustrations.

While the grand lobby and views from my river view room were stunning, the maintenance and service fell short of expectations. I had a fantastic time at the Shangri-La Bangkok! The hotel is beautifully designed with polished floors and stunning decor. My room, with a view of the Krungthep River, was a lovely oasis from the bustling city. While the check-in process could use improvement, the overall service and attention from the staff were great. I'd definitely stay here again.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Shangri-La Bangkok. The location near the Chao Phraya River was perfect for hopping on the free boat to IconSiam Mall. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a stunning balcony view. The dining at the Horizon Club was a highlight, offering delicious food and attentive service. However, I did notice some noise from the surrounding area, which occasionally disrupted the serene atmosphere.
